Administrative Training

Good administrative support is crucial to an efficient workplace. Knowing the importance of calendaring, how to communicate effectively and track pending tasks. How to be proactive and follow through.

With twenty years of admin experience and ten years of working in a school district, I’ve been able to learn a thing or two, and I love sharing those things with others.

I can provide training for classified clerical staff that is relevant and directly related to their positions:

  • Tips on how to use Outlook more efficiently
  • Utilizing Google Suite more fully
  • Review areas of Microsoft Word and Excel that we usually get hung up on
  • How to keep your files organized (both hard copies and electronic)

My classified and clerical professional development will include time for practical applications and breakout sessions to group classified employees into relevant groups (school size or level, different job classifications, etc.).

I enthusiastically recommend Ms. Armstrong for her exceptional training services. From the beginning, Ms. Armstrong demonstrated a high level of collaboration and professionalism.  She took the initiative to create a survey to assess the specific needs of our clerical staff. Using the data collected, she designed her presentation to address those needs effectively. Her preparation was thorough, and her organizational skills were evident throughout the training process.

The presentation itself was exceptionally well-received by our staff. Ms. Armstrong covered a wide range of topics including customer service, time management, communication, attention to detail, organization, and the use of Google and Word. The diverse group of clerical staff who attended benefited greatly from the comprehensive content she provided.

Her efforts were reflected in the strong evaluations she received, with an impressive 95% of participants indicating that they would recommend this class to a colleague. Such positive feedback underscores her ability to deliver valuable and impactful training sessions.
